The article is devoted to a theoretical analysis of religiosity as a psychological resource of personal hardiness under conditions of forced migration caused by the war in Ukraine. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to identify factors that contribute to maintaining mental health and enhancing the stress resilience of Ukrainian migrants in the context of prolonged traumatic experiences. Scientific approaches to understanding religiosity in Ukrainian and international psychology are systematized. Its role as a coping resource that contributes to strengthening personal hardiness under conditions of uncertainty is substantiated.
The aim of the study is to provide a theoretical analysis of religiosity as a psychological resource of personal hardiness under conditions of forced migration caused by the war in Ukraine and to systematize the main scientific approaches to its understanding in Ukrainian and international psychology.
Research results. Theoretical analysis has shown that religiosity is a multidimensional psychological phenomenon that serves as a significant resource for supporting the basic components of personal hardiness-commitment, control, and willingness to take risks. The synthesis of scientific sources made it possible to identify the main areas of practical application of religiosity as a resource for psychological support of Ukrainian forced migrants: taking an individual’s religious experience into account in the counseling process; facilitating their involvement in religious communities as a source of social support and integration into a new environment; and developing psychological support programs that integrate spiritually oriented practices with traditional psychotherapeutic methods.
