Abstract

This article analyzes the role of the production pedagogical practice in the professional development of future teacher of history. Disclosed the purpose and objectives of the production pedagogical practice in training of future teacher-historian. Based on observation during the practice and analysis of results of questioning of students after their pedagogical practice, described the state of the practical training of future teachers of history (based on example of the specialty «6.020302. History*» Educational and scientific Institute of history, politology and law of Mykolaiv national University named after V. A. Sukhomlinsky). Identified inconsistencies and shortcomings in organizing and conducting the production pedagogical practice at secondary schools and outlines ways to overcome them. Revealed the role of methodical support and maintenance of practical training on the part of higher school teachers and head of pedagogical practice
