The article analyzes the structure of readiness for professional self-improvement and the components offered for structure specification (conative, informative, emotional, strong-willed and other components). Scientific approaches to definition of content structure of readiness for professional self-improvement along with criteria of activity of the person in the process of such readiness formation are described. Attention is paid to the existence of integrated system of knowledge and skills in the process of professional self-improvement realization appropriate for the students of higher educational institutions.
