Group flow of badly streamlined designs

The features of generation of large-scale vortical structures, formings the horseshoe vortical system, in the wake flow around bluff bodies are experimentally investigated. Scales and place of location of vortical structures, and also kinematic and dynamic characteristics of the velocity field near three-row cylinder a grillage located after a prismatic body, when they are streamlined under a corner and axial symmetric, are defined. It is shown that ve-locities near three-row cylinder a grillage at the angular flow around are increased, as compared to a case, when they are axial symmetric streamlined.References
