Ethical Aspects of Research
Ethical Aspects of Research
The ethical approval policy applies to all submitted manuscripts in which the research:
- involves human participants (respondents, experts, interviewees, etc.) or animals;
- includes the processing of personal or confidential data;
- is based on surveys, interviews, focus groups, or other empirical methods;
- uses restricted-access data or data requiring special permission.
Authors must confirm that:
- participation in the study was voluntary;
- participants were properly informed about the purpose, nature, and conditions of the research;
- informed consent was obtained where required by applicable law;
- confidentiality and appropriate protection of personal data were ensured in accordance with applicable data protection legislation;
- in studies involving animals, relevant ethical standards were observed.
If the research required review by an ethics committee or another authorized body, authors must indicate in the manuscript that ethical approval was obtained (including the name of the institution, approval number, and date). Such approval must be obtained prior to the commencement of the study and reported in the “Methodology” or “Ethical Considerations” section.
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm compliance with this policy and bear full responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided. The editorial board reserves the right to request supporting documentation, to reject a manuscript, or to retract a published article in cases of violation of ethical standards or applicable legislation.
