Method of improving measurement reliability using a coordinate measuring arm in real-time mode

The article discusses the concept of measurement reliability, where for each measured quantity, the interval of form and surface location can be determined. If the measure of the obtained quantity falls within this interval, it is considered reliable. The article also examines the probability risks of measurements, which are associated with the presence of sources of systematic measurement errors. For distributed systems, such as KVR, a diagnostic approach based on reservation using mathematical models is recommended. The article also notes that systematic errors can never be fully compensated. Distributed systems are quite vulnerable, but can be successfully protected by appropriate diagnostic tools. It has been shown that the online diagnostics presented in the article allows for real-time monitoring of the reliability of KVR measurements based on some statistical tests and can be applied to any distributed system.
