COMPENSATION OF REFLECTED WAVES DURING MEASUREMENTS CURRENT ANTENNA LENGTH
Abstract
The principle of compensation of the reflected waves at comparison of antenna systems is considered. A new method of measuring the effective length of the antenna, which is based on the use of interference phenomena of direct and reflected waves, has been developed. The proposed method of measurement makes it possible to exclude the influence of the reflective surface on the errors in calculating the effective length.
