Abstract

concept as the Internet of things (ІоТ). Conditionally ІоТ can be divided into 2 parts: to theеlectronics and telecommunications. Therefore, in this work the concept of the Internet ofthings and the most popular communications protocols of this concept, such as: CoAP,MQTT, HTTP, AMQP, XMPP which are used for sending information from any sensor to acloud server was considered. All of the protocols, that were considered, significantly differentamong themselves. The easiest way to classify them by several key parameters: the quality ofthe service,addressing and on аpplication. Also the detail analysis of the technologies used inIoT was carried out, comparing is carried out them, their main shortcomings and features ofapplication are defined
