The relevance of the study is determined by the active digital transformation of audiovisual production and the increasing complexity of light shows, which require greater accuracy in implementing design concepts within integrated artistic and technological processes. The widespread adoption of digital previsualization tools has reshaped traditional approaches to stage design; however, their impact on the precision with which creative intent is materialized requires comprehensive scientific analysis. The purpose to assess how digital previsualization tools affect the accuracy of light show design realization and to justify their role as a key instrument in artistic and technological design in modern audiovisual production. Methodology. The research employs methods of analyzing and generalizing scientific and professional sources, a system-structural approach to determine the position of previsualization within the production cycle of a light show, comparative analysis of digital modeling and stage implementation, and theoretical modeling to develop criteria for assessing the accuracy of design realization. Results. The evolution of digital previsualization functions in light production has been investigated. It has been established that previsualization serves as an integrated environment for synchronizing artistic and technical decisions. Criteria for evaluating the accuracy of implementing a design concept have been identified, encompassing spatial, photometric, temporal, and compositional parameters. Scientific and practical challenges related to discrepancies between virtual modeling and real-world conditions, technological limitations of software systems, and organizational interactions within creative-technical teams have been identified. Scientific novelty lies in conceptualizing digital previsualization as a tool for parametric verification of the design concept and in developing a multidimensional system of criteria for assessing the accuracy of light-show implementation, integrating artistic and engineering approaches to stage analysis. Practical relevance comes from the ability to use the proposed approaches to improve production processes in light shows, reduce technological risks (unexpected technical problems), shorten preparation time, and ensure a consistent visual result across different stage arrangements and audiovisual types.
