Currently, it is known that drones are increasingly used in various fields: media, military, agricultural, security, and scientific research. At the same time, ecological problems, in particular water bodies, are acutely emerging. The article proposes a method of cleaning water bodies from floating waste with the help of drones and a boat, developed a functional diagram of the water body cleaning system. The drone, flying over the water, takes pictures of the water surface and recognizes the floating waste on them. Next, the drone sends the coordinates of the detected debris to the boat. Methods based on learning neural networks are used to recognize floating debris: the YOLO algorithm is applied.
