Abstract

Those who were fortunate enough to work with Alexander Ivanovich Kukhtenko in the team headed by him are well aware that he always willingly shared his assessments and ideas about scientific schools and directions with his colleagues and students. In the circle of his associates, problems were discussed not only of technical cybernetics, the department of which he headed at the Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, but also of a new emerging science at that time - General Systems Theory (GTS). In fact, A.I. Kukhtenko created the Kiev school of mathematical systems theory.
