STUDY OF THE DEVELOPMENT LEVEL OF PHYSICAL QUALITIES OF STUDENTS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF STRENGTH FITNESS TRAINING

The article addresses the problem of declining physical fitness levels among higher education students under modern educational conditions characterized by increased psycho-emotional loads and insufficient physical activity. Strength fitness is identified as an effective means of developing physical qualities and improving the functional state of the students’ bodies. During the pedagogical experiment, an author-developed strength fitness training program was implemented. The effectiveness of the program was assessed based on indicators of strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination abilities before and after the experiment. The research results demonstrated a positive dynamics in the development of the examined physical qualities. The obtained data confirm the scientific validity and practical feasibility of integrating strength fitness classes into the physical education system of higher education institutions in order to enhance students’ physical fitness levels and promote health improvement.
