The article examines the issue of developing the professional and creative potential of future teachers in the process of foreign language project-based learning. It substantiates the importance of creativity as a key component of the professional growth of a modern teacher capable of innovative, research, and communicative activities. The interrelation between professional and creative potential and the pedagogical competencies outlined in the new Professional Standard for Teachers is defined. Methodological conditions for the effective development of professional and creative potential are proposed through the implementation of foreign language projects using digital tools.
