The article presents a comprehensive theoretical and methodological study of the role of the specialist as an active subject within the system of renewal of an enterprise’s economic resources in the context of post-war recovery. The relevance of the research is driven by the need to identify internal drivers of the revitalization of economic entities under conditions of a critical shortage of investment capital and the physical destruction of infrastructure. The research substantiates a paradigmatic shift from perceiving personnel as a passive resource to recognizing them as a strategic agent of change capable of converting intellectual potential into tangible assets. The destructive impact of military actions on the enterprise’s resource environment is identified across three dimensions: physical, logistical-informational, and socio-human resource. It is demonstrated that the intellectual potential of the specialist serves as a «trigger mechanism» of regeneration, ensuring the transition from a survival stage to sustainable development. A contemporary competency profile of a new-generation specialist is developed, integrating professional resilience, cognitive flexibility, and digital adaptability. The functional role of the subject is further specified through the directions of material asset renewal based on circular economy principles, financial engineering, and the restoration of the enterprise’s intangible assets. Particular attention is paid to the institutional support for the realization of subjectivity through the democratization of management and the implementation of shared ownership systems (ownership culture). The practical significance of the results lies in the development of applied tools for HR management and strategic planning aimed at fostering the proactive development of enterprises in the post-conflict period.
