DECARBONIZATION OF THE HEALTHCARE SECTOR: STATE APPROACH IN GLOBAL PRACTICE AND UKRAINE'S POSITION

Abstract

Healthcare, like every sector of society, has a responsibility to align its actions and development trajectory in line with the Paris Agreement to prevent the worst impacts of climate change. Ukraine remains on track to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, including decarbonization, despite the challenges of martial law. Public policies and investments in healthcare in every country should be focused on supporting decarbonization to preserve the conditions for a healthy life.
