Abstract

The hostilities in Ukraine have caused significant destruction of urban areas and degradation of green systems, a key element of which are tree plantations. The restoration of these systems requires new approaches given the unprecedented level of pollution and transformation of urban ecosystems. An additional challenge is climate change, which significantly affects the stability and functionality of tree plantations. In this regard, there is a need to develop new methodological principles and practical recommendations for the effective restoration and management of urban green systems in the post-war period.
