Cyanobacterial blooms are one of the most common manifestations of eutrophication in freshwater ecosystems, particularly in reservoirs. Their intensity and frequency are increasing under the influence of anthropogenic factors and climate change. It has been shown that reservoirs create specific hydrological conditions that promote the massive development of cyanobacteria, which requires the implementation of integrated approaches to monitoring and management.
