Abstract

The paper presents the results of a hydrochemical study of natural water sources in the Perechyn district. The following water quality indicators were determined: BOD₅, COD, nitrate, nitrite and ammonium ion content. The relevance of the study is due to the detection of signs of fecal contamination in one of the sources, which raises concerns about the safety of using water for drinking purposes. The analysis made it possible to assess the compliance of water with the MPC standards for the studied indicators.
