The paper carried out an ecological assessment of the impact of the oil and gas industry on the state of atmospheric air. The main organized and unorganized sources of emissions were analyzed, priority pollutants were identified. The level of technogenic load was assessed using air pollution indices. It was established that during drilling the impact is temporary, while in areas of long-term production a chronic excess of norms is observed. Modern monitoring methods and measures to minimize emissions are considered.
