Abstract

The paper substantiates the strategy of ecological rehabilitation of landscapes damaged by man-made and military impacts. The priority of the ecosystem approach and phytoremediation methods for restoring the biological functionality of territories is proven. The key stages of decontamination, hydrological revitalization and GIS monitoring of affected regions are identified. The principles of sustainable restoration based on the ecological imperative are formulated.
