An overview of some methods for the determination of depth of shallow water bodies using images taken by UAVs

Abstract

The article presents an overview of some of the methods for the determination of the depth of the shallow water bodies using images taken by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Photogrammetric techniques based on the method of ""Structure -from-Motion and Multi-View Stereo"" provide for the opportunity to receive the measurements of a high precision.
