Abstract

Fires on board aircraft represent a serious threat to aviation safety, as they can lead to catastrophic consequences for passengers, crew, and the aircraft itself. Analysis of the causes of onboard fires reveals that they can be triggered by technical malfunctions, human errors, and external factors, highlighting the need for improvements in technical maintenance and fire detection and suppression systems. The developed recommendations include enhancing temperature management technologies, conducting regular equipment inspections, and strengthening crew training, all aimed at increasing the safety of air transportation.
