Abstract

The challenges of the energy transition and their impact on aviation, particularly the adoption of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), are analyzed. Issues related to the war in Ukraine, economic turbulence, and the high costs of SAF, which slow down decarbonization but keep aviation a key area of change, are highlighted.
