Abstract

After the discovery of X-rays and the phenomenon of radioactivity, the question of quantitative and qualitative measurement of ionizing radiation arose. The methods of its registration, which were initially developed for the study of the properties of radioactive substances, the processes of radioactive transformations, later became the basis of general methods and devices for radiation control.
