Investigation the character of the stress-strain state after laser processing

A model of the structure of a material section after laser treatment, in which there is a transition zone between the hardened section and the matrix, is considered and the processes caused by friction are analyzed. It is shown that, as a result of laser treatment, local stresses in the material can be calculated and predicted, depending on the type of loading, taking into account the mechanical properties, appearance, and structure of the transition zone.
