Abstract

ВОЛС є лінією або з обмеженими втратами (загасанням), або з обмеженою дисперсією. У 1980-х і на початку 1990-х при проектуванні ВОЛЗ треба було пристосовуватися до цих  двох основних ефектів. У цьому сенсі процес проектування лінії був достатньо прямолінійним.
