The article presents a philosophical and ontological analysis of the technosphere as a historically constituted mode of reality formation. The status of the technosphere is substantiated not as a mere aggregate of technical artifacts or infrastructural systems, but as a mode of ontological organization of modernity that determines the structure of the manifestation of beings, the transformation of spatial and temporal coordinates, and the character of social interaction. The aim and tasks. The study aims to analyze the technosphere as a specific mode of the constitution of reality and to justify its status as a structuring condition of contemporary experience, practice, and social interaction. Research methods. The methodological framework of the study is grounded in phenomenological, hermeneutic, and social-constructivist approaches, as well as in key concepts of the philosophy of technology and environmental ethics. Research results. It is demonstrated that the technosphere performs a structuring function in shaping experience, social institutions, and the cognitive models of contemporary human beings. It emerges not merely as an infrastructural environment, but as an ontological horizon within which reality acquires an operationalized, measurable, and manageable character. Discussion. The interpretation of the technosphere as an ontological mode makes it possible to overcome reductionist approaches that confine the technical to an instrumental dimension and to reveal its participation in processes of meaning-formation and normative ordering of being. Conclusions. Particular emphasis is placed on the necessity of integrating the ecological imperative and the principle of responsibility into the assessment of technospheric development. It is argued that the ontological legitimacy of the technosphere depends on its coherence with ecosystemic limits and the preservation of anthropological integrity.
