Abstract

In the article is determining place of legislation in a law regulation mechanism of information activity of television and radio organizations, exposing some problems of definition of main concepts of the theme. An author gives a conclusion that it is necessary to eliminate defects of concepts in the legislation related to television and broadcasting, including a return to the legislation the term "information activities", a clear definition of the terms "TV (radio) program" and "telecast" ("broadcast") and the legislative definition of "TV channel".
