Abstract

The article deals with genesis and legislative consolidation of the rights, freedoms and duties at the Ukrainian armed forces. The author examines these processes in the period from ancient times until the independence of Ukraine. The author also analyzes the legal documents at different stages of development of Ukraine, which became the basis for further evolution of the rights, freedoms and responsibilities of the military personnel.
