Abstract

Best performance of the designed automated control system of technological processes re­quired the usage of different software packages, running on real-time (RTOS) and general purpose operating systems. A comparative analysis of popular software operating systems (OS) QNX and Windows was held, to identify the specific recommendations for efficient us­age these types of operating systems in building RTS of industrial control
