Abstract

In the article there is estimated the efficiency of the inkapsulation/deinkapsulation procedure's application on the base of the functional analysis theory for the interlevel co-operation in the reference model of OSI (OSI RM). A relative increment size of the interlevel co-operation time, determining the vector space norm, reaches at the maximal length of the frame data field its overhead bound which is described by the dependence of OSI RM levels number
