Application of technology of domain-specific modelling for metamaterials design

Information’s technologies of Domain Specific Modelling (DSM) for physical domains are considered in the paper. The approach has been practically implemented in the tool, named Visual Environment for Physical Modelling (VEPM). The main idea of VEPM consists in using basic (i.e. reflecting dimensions of a space) geometrical objects for development of a metamodel for physical domains. The metamodel gives possibility of models development by creation of space structures and setting distributions of physical properties. The concrete example of VEPM application for metamaterials
