The paper presents the results of the study of amorphous films. Changing the properties of such systems is realized by introducing atomic clusters into the solid state matrix. This process is defined as a method of cluster modification of materials, in particular, film heterojunctions. Nanocluster raster is not always stable. This is due to the variability of nanocluster morphology. The creation of quantum-sized data carriers of this type is promising for use in new generation devices.
