MODIFICATION OF THE CHECK FOR OF EFFECTIVE ERROR CONTROL IN TRANSMISSION CHANNELS COMPUTER NETWORK DATA
Abstract
The article proposes an approach to improving the efficiency of error detection using a checksum in channels of computer networks with spectral modulation. A method for encoding the checksum components has been developed. It is shown that the proposed modification of the checksum provides greater reliability of error control compared to CRC for channels with spectral modulation. At the same time, the implementation of the proposed error control method using a checksum provides a higher speed of control operations compared to CRC.
