In this study, fitness with an aerobic focus is examined as an effective means of maintaining and supporting the psychophysical well-being of students. The research analyzed changes in motivation to engage in fitness activities under conditions of martial law. It was determined that motivation is primarily influenced by emotional state, access to sports infrastructure, social support, and the use of digital platforms. Survey results indicated that despite elevated levels of anxiety, a significant portion of students perceive physical activity as an effective way to maintain emotional stability. The findings can be used to develop practical recommendations for increasing students’ motivation to engage in fitness activities in crisis situations, particularly during wartime. The proposed approaches are expected to foster sustainable motivation for a healthy lifestyle and enhance the adaptive capabilities of students.
