Abstract

The article discusses key aspects of forming cartographic concepts in geography lessons using mathematical tools, reveals the peculiarities of applying mathematical terminology to explain the essence of the concepts of «latitude», «longitude», «rectangular coordinates», and «cartographic projection» to students in geography lessons.
