METHODS OF FORMING A MULTIFUNCTIONAL LANDSCAPE ENVIRONMENT IN GATED RESIDENTIAL COMPLEXES

The study examines the features of forming a multifunctional landscape environment in contemporary gated residential complexes. Methods and planning techniques for organizing landscape space, as well as artistic, aesthetic, and technological tools for its formation, are analyzed. The role of the landscape environment as a component of a comfortable, safe, and harmonious residential space is highlighted. The impact of landscape solutions on visual perception, psychological comfort, and social interaction of residents is outlined. Key trends and challenges in the development of landscape environments in residential complexes are identified, particularly those related to balancing functional efficiency, aesthetic expressiveness, and modern technologies. The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate and systematize the methods of forming a multifunctional landscape environment in contemporary gated residential complexes to create a comfortable and safe residential space Methodology. The research is based on the analysis of domestic and international scientific sources dedicated to the formation of landscape environments in residential complexes. The study also incorporates the analysis of contemporary design practices and implemented gated residential complexes. Comparative and typological methods are applied to evaluate planning solutions and methods for organizing multifunctional landscape spaces. A systems analysis approach is used to identify the interrelations between functional, artistic-aesthetic, and technological components of the landscape environment. Results. It was established that a multifunctional landscape environment is formed through the combination of well-considered planning techniques and functional zoning. The use of artistic-aesthetic tools and technologies enhances residents’ comfort, safety, and psychological well-being. It was found that a balance between aesthetics, functionality, and ecological principles allows for the creation of a harmonious and recognizable space for recreation and social interaction. Scientific novelty. Contemporary approaches to the formation of multifunctional landscape environments in residential complexes have been identified. A comprehensive approach has been developed that integrates planning techniques, artistic-aesthetic solutions, and modern maintenance technologies. This concept ensures increased comfort, functionality, and recognizability of the environment while taking into account principles of sustainable development and the socio-psychological needs of residents. Practical relevance. Practical Significance. The results of the study can be applied in the development of design solutions for low-rise residential construction. In particular, they allow for the adaptation of standard projects to the requirements of a multifunctional landscape environment, ensuring architectural identity, aesthetic appeal, and harmonious integration into the surrounding space
