The article discusses the potential of artificial intelligence in the development of gifted students' abilities. The article focuses on the features of image creation using the Playground AI platform and a comparative analysis of these capabilities with human creativity. Based on the analysis of modern AI tools and methods of their use in the educational process, the key features that contribute to deep individualization of learning, development of creative thinking, and encouragement of independent research are identified. The paper assesses the potential and challenges of artificial intelligence as a tool for visual expression in comparison with the process of creating images by an artist.
