The article proposes an algorithm for determining entropy, which is a complex parameter of non-equilibrium tribothermodynamics for their refined influence in pairs of friction pairs of brake devices. Entropy is a complex parameter of the state of the tribosystem, including the amount of heat generated in the areas of contact spots of macroprotrusions of friction pairs, impulse specific loads, surface-volume temperatures and volumes of materials of surface and near-surface layers of polymer linings. The research is based on the principle that all the work of impulse friction forces during frictional interaction of pairs in friction nodes is converted into heat, while cases of isothermal, isobaric and isochoric processes in conjugated friction pairs are possible, and as a result, isentropic phenomena are possible, which allows for equilibrium tribothermodynamics. The change in entropy is given for different states of the surface-volume mass of the friction lining of the brake friction node.
