Abstract

The paper investigates the problematic task of cleaning exhaust gases from gasoline generators with a power of about 1 kW. The analysis of known methods of dry filtration, wet bubbling through lime milk and their complex application is carried out. The effectiveness of the synthesized method based on the use of moistened fibrous matrices, which combines mechanical capture of soot and chemisorption of toxic gases, is substantiated. The proposed technology for cleaning exhaust gases allows achieving an acceptable level of environmental safety of autonomous energy sources for human dwellings while maintaining their mobility in emergency situations.
